Portsmouth and South Coast Business Week We’re back!

Portsmouth and South Coast Business week will return on 19-23rd February 2024. The annual showcase and celebration of our business community, designed around our four I’s; inform, invest, interact and inspire – and culminating in The News Business Excellence Awards.
The last two years have welcomed over 2,000 business delegates to over 60 events and Open Door sessions, and reached over 20,000 individuals through our Facebook Live videos. We’ve seen events Chaired by Lord David Willets and guest speakers like Will King (founder of King of Shaves) and Lauren Steadman MBE (Paralympic Champion).


We’re also now working closely with the teams at Venturefest South and Shaping Portsmouth Conference teams so as not to duplicate the existing amazing support that already exists in the region. Venturefest South is designed for our Innovators and Investors, our Start-ups and early-stage businesses, and showcases and celebrates regional innovation. Shaping Portsmouth Conference focuses on Transforming Portsmouth.

Hannah from Beautiful mind coach will be sharing tools for recognising and managing overwhelm and stress and highlighting how employers can help support their staff with wellbeing.
Sophie from Hormones on the blink will be discussing what employers need to know about menopause at work and considerations for creating a menopause inclusive environment. She will also be sharing some tips on signposting and how individuals can best access support for symptoms.

There are many local businesses who have experience of engaging with young people either through schools and colleges or extra curricular activities. We’re inviting businesses who’d like to share their experiences as well as those who want to learn more.
To hear from experts regards child licensing, safeguarding, how to engage with schools and colleges and the practicalities of running workshops and events. At the luncheon you can hear from Hayley Reay, Head of Learning and Participation at the Guildhall, Cherry Lambert Dance Live! Producer, Charlie Fletcher founder and Project Manager of UVG and many more people. The event is free and will be hosted in a relaxed and discussive environment.
